The Supervisory Board of the WAMU Banking Commission held its 151st session on Tuesday, December 16, and Wednesday, December 17, 2025, on the premises of the Cotonou Main Branch, under the chairmanship of Governor Jean-Claude Kassi BROU.

The session was dedicated to hearings, held as part of disciplinary proceedings, of executives from recently audited credit institutions, focusing notably on compliance with regulations governing the external financial relations of WAEMU Member States, as well as the review of licensing requests and various authorizations.

At the conclusion of the deliberations, disciplinary and pecuniary sanctions were issued by the Supervisory Board. The supervisory Authority also granted favorable opinions regarding licensing requests and various authorizations.
